Despite what the package says, you CANNOT use this without at least a half-hardon. It is nearly impossible to get it on totally erect (at least for me). I am a smidge over 6" and not matter what I tried, I could not get it to go over the last inch or so of my penis. When you thrust, it doesn't really go straight either. I actually have both the 8 1/2 & 7 inch extension but found that the inner sleeve of the 7 inch is a bit thinner (smaller). My opninion is the thicker and harder feel of the 8 inch sleeve makes the extension feel more real or hard of an erection. The vacumm helps it stay on even though my erection may not be fully fit the sleeve. Also, I like its darker color, as it blends in with my skin color.
