i purchased the 17.6 oz bottle (no spermicide). this is a great lube, very slick, light, and non-greasy. the bottle states it is unflavored, non-staining, and odor free. while it is non-staining, i think there is a mild but pleasant odor and the initial taste of lube is almost sweet but with no after-taste. this is the longest lasting water-based lube i have ever used. i prefer my lube to have some staying power and since i don't like a huge mess, the pump dispenser is great. id glide is thicker than the name brands i've used (astroglide, ky, etc.). the consistency is similar to a creamy lotion. so rather than dripping all over me or my partner, the lube goes where we want it. adding a very small amount of water will thin it out if that is your preference (and using this as a concentrate means more lube for your money!). a drop rubbed between two fingers remained well lubricated for a little more than 30 minutes, adding a drop of water thinned it right back out. it worked better than i expected and was well worth the price. i also found that this makes a great lotion--it's very absorbent and didn't leave my skin feeling sticky at all. i'd recommend trying this one if you are looking for a good lube for use with toys, vaginal or anal play. |
