I also had to trim the sleeve in order to get this pump to fit. I shaved my pubic hairs and was actually able to use this pump without the sleeve, allowing for the base of my penis to get more girth too. This pump is awkward to use your finger over the quick-release valve for a long period, so I recommend putting a piece of tape over it, and then detaching the tape when you are done. The first few times I used this pump, I did not notice much results... just turned my penis red.
