Granted I was a beginner so I have never actually used an anal probe, but it was hard to line up. I literally had to stand up to do it, and you have to put it in all the way or it can slip right back out. Once you do manage to get the hang of it then it's all down hill from there. There wasn't any pain, and the discomfort was minimal, with or without lube, so that's a major plus. All in all if you have never done, this toy can work out for you depending on what you need to have an orgasm, but personally I want more.
